Going 100 miles in one continuous ride is a rite of passage for most cyclists. Whether you are a new cyclist or have been riding for years, riding 100 miles is always a fun and noteworthy challenge.
This event is a paved road group ride that will complete at least 100 miles so that everyone who rides that day can say they completed a “century” ride. This event is great for anyone who has always wanted to complete a “century” ride but has maybe been intimidated by the distance or weren’t sure where to do it around Fargo-Moorhead.
Each year we’ve done this event we’ve had a good group of experienced riders, and the most fun rides we’ve had occurred when riders complete their first century ride ever. The group effort will help to share the work and save everyone’s energy and can also distract you from the challenge you are undertaking when it starts to feel difficult. It’s fun even if you are an experienced cyclist as well. The sense of accomplishment will stay with you for days after the ride. We hope you’ll join us!
