About The Event

This event started as a fat bike group ride exploring the trails within the Sheyenne Grasslands. It still is that ride, but in 2024 a few riders in our community asked if they could join us but do a separate gravel ride instead of the fat bike ride. We said “sure, why not” and this year will be our 3rd year offering both rides at this event.

Meet at the Jorgen’s Hollow Campground parking lot. Both rides will start from there.

Fat Bike Ride - roughly 20 miles with around 1,000 feet of elevation gained. Riding in the Grasslands offers a unique scenery that is much different from that of the Red River Valley that Fargo-Moorhead sits in.

Gravel Ride - in 2025 this ride was 30 miles long with about 500ft of elevation gained. Route information will be released closer to the event date.
